    Sydney continued...

Im back in Wollongong and we felt a good relief to be back here to smell the salt in the air. Traffic was very bad in Sydney. Bus drivers and taxxi drivers are driving like assholes. They don't care and cut anyhow and do not give way to you.

Everyone in the shops seems very rude too. No "hi, hows your day". They seem very tired and worn down and engrossed in their own world. Very very different from people in the suburbs who always got the time to chat and get to know any new faces who walked into the shop.

Let me tell some history. Firstly the opera house. It was designed by Jørn Utzon and constructed under some controversy, it was opened in October 1973. The Sydney Opera House is an expressionist modern design, with a series of large precast concrete 'shells', each taken from a hemisphere of the same radius, forming the roofs of the structure. The Opera House covers 1.8 hectares (4.5 acres) of land.It is supported on 580 concrete piers sunk up to 25 metres below sea level. Its power supply is equivalent for a town of 25,000 people. The power is distributed by 645 kilometres of electrical cable.

Up close though the opera house looks as though it needs some maintanence. The self-cleaning nature tiles looks like they need some heavy cleaning.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge is the main way to cross Sydney Harbour. The bridge was the city's tallest structure until 1967. According to Guinness World Records, it is the widest long-span bridge in the world and is the highest steel arch bridge with the top of the bridge standing 134 metres (429.6 feet) above the harbour.

The Sydney BridgeClimb® is a 3½ hour unparalleled experience @A$100. In groups of 12 climbers you make your way from the base to the summit of Sydney Harbour Bridge's famous arch. The Climb takes you over ladders, catwalks and arches, in all weather conditions (excluding electrical storms) during the day, in twilight or at night. You got to wear protective harness jumper.

When we were driving back we stopped by near the Sydney airport runway. As usual Krishna was feasting his eyes and heart by looking at the airplanes taking off and landing. Sometimes I wish he just looks at other ladies bellies. As looking at airplanes seems a painful reminder of a unattained passion of his;flying.

Im gona cook up fish curry now. That day I cooked up a new receipe Penne with Ricotta and Basil sauce. Pretty good actually although I played down on the basil abit. The ricotta itself was very good even though it was of the reduced fat quality.
