Haha I won't miss the Chicken Cheese Baked Rice at Swensons anymore. Cos I can make it on my own with loads of cheese. And it definitely will be on the menu next week too for the 2 cheese monsters here.

Saturday Night Cold
Good evening folks how is your Saturday going? Well we are home after doing all the household chores, laundry and supermarket. Its really windy and cold outside.
Brisbane and Queensland have been suffering from very bad storms. Many houses rooftops were pulled off by the strong winds and blown away far. Underground tunnels were flooded. Some people missing and some others drowned. Some House's front was destroyed on Wednesday and their back was destroyed on Thursday. I felt so sad for the house owners.
Whats for dinner? Its tomato, ricotta and spinach baked pasta. Krish really liked so I guess its nice. Oh maybe he doesn't have a choice but to say he like it. Hahaha.
I took a video (forgive me for the amateur capture) with my camera of the surrounding area, looking out from my kitchen window. Listen to the wind. Look at the trees and plants. I was so tempted to ask Krish to drive up to the ocean front and watch the waves crushing themselves on the breakwaters. I don't know why but I will always feel so good and relived watching that especially in this kind of weather condition. Hmmm I wonder whether that says anything about me.
Well the wind was pushing the dustbins out to the road after this video and the rubbish from the bins flew out and were doing rubbish dance on the streets. So I guess we will be staying in for sure and crush on the couch. Nite!

Congratulations Devi!
One of my dear friend Devi got married last Saturday. I was so surprised when the bride herself called me in the morning of her wedding day! As thrilled I was hearing from her and talking to her I was so equally sad when I put down the phone. I turned to Krish and said "I guess I got to get used to this. Not being there." Krish just comforted me and said I will. But Im blessed with understanding babes around me.
Devi is one of my beautiful friends (we go back to spf dancing days hehehe) who went through quite a lot and finally came the DAY where she said "I do" and now being with her love of her life forever.
My heart goes all out to her and wishes only the best of the best for her and her husband in their new life. Thanks for sending your pictures dear! Heres the beautiful moment!!!
I am at my most unfit stage. I am huffing and puffing for even running a short distance. This is worst than my secondary school life. Oh yes you know I was in the obese running club in Secondary 5. Sorry I was forced to be in cos of 1 kg.
Everyone was shocked to see me running in the early mornings and some even joked about it. But it was hell of a stressful year for me. I would study till late into the night and then wake up at 5 to go to school and run around the surrounding area. Then I would rush to classes. All the first period teachers was shocked to see me coming in my t-shirt for the first few times. They would just look at me and I said " Yes I am in TAF (trim and fit)club". They will just smile.
This stress actually made me lost 8 kilos in 6 months and my skirt was nearly dropping. The instructor who put me in became scared. He told me to leave which I did gladly. I was better with my timing and fitness level of course. But it was the last important year of secondary. I was really like a small ugly duckling, so dark, sweaty most of the times with deep dark circles around my eyes and dropping skirt. Argh. It hurts to look back. My mum was so pissed off with my instructor.
Anyway I feel the same as I did then while running. It was so difficult to just complete a run. I had to run and walk, run abit and walk. And its lonely and sad to run alone in the morning even though there are so many people around. The only relief is the scenery. Beach, sea, lighthouse and breakwaters. I saw a lady running wearing a nice tee with the words " I'd rather be dancing". Haha. I couldn't agree more than ever to that. Sigh!
Oh ya I must tell you about my driving. I got big coordination problem man. The steering, the clutch, gear and the accelerator! Gosh how you guys do it?! And yes Im training in our manual car. And you know what I haven't get to the roads yet and I complaining so much. We go driving at a big stadium car park. And I think Krish is a very good and patient instructor.
You know something. The Aussies are very happy that Obama won. They celebrated. They had Obama parties. They have daily updates on him and his actions.
And oh ya the Bali bombers were at last executed after so many years. There was a huge coverage of that here. It was a very emotional day for the victims families. But what they don't realise is that it was only the end of the 3 of them. Not end of terrorism. There was a warning issued by officials to stay out of there for awhile. But there were still the lot of them partying there. I guess life goes on for some no matter what happens.
Okie me gona grab some breakie (breakfast in aussie).

Minammurra Falls
This is a waterfall located deep in Minammurra rainforest which is located at Jamberoo, half an hour away from Wollongong. The walk to the falls itself was really a steep exhausting but a nice green one. I was huffing and puffing at the end of it. But resting in front of if this made it all coolingly better. It was about 2 hrs to and fro walk. Thats the shortest route.
Well yellow is not really me but I liked this particular skin cos it kind of like resembles the summer.
How have the weather been? Well quite crazy. Yesterday was very bright sunny day and today is a cold one with some showers predicted. Some day last week they had snow in some places which is a shocking thing to happen in October here. Weather is all haywire all over the world.
Oh ya I passed the basic theory for car last sat and then immediately went for a practical insight with Krish. Here you have to be on provisional license with some speed restrictions for 3 YEARS before a full licence is issued. So I need to move the practicals fast to clock 120 hours of driving before the driving test and attained my provisional license to drive.
Hey the 1st black president has just been elected in US. Australia is closely following the US elections. And it seems like a very big historical event there. Its a emotional win for especially the African Americans.
Alrite I am going to prepare a lentil soup for dinner before my hungry hubby comes home. Catch you soon.
