Well I have been cooked up here and there and then got into the "no mood to blog" phase. I then decided to blog before I lose track of things.
Spring is here. It at first brought beautiful sunshine but these few days seems all gloomed up. I am working on a psyc report on whether human memory is more "tuned" to remember stuff which is more of survival based. I also had stats test every other week going on. They are doing a good job in making us understand stats in terms of psychology research but they seem to also do an exceptional good job in setting nasty, cruel tests. I thought I was the only one drowning after the test on Monday but everyone seem to shake their head and look down sadly when asked "how did you find the test". I was so sad that my whole monday seemed more than blues and went into a black zone area. Gosh. Recovering now.
I have been having very acidic stomach, something that I recall only having when I was working in SPF. I manage to get medications. But I noticed a reoccurence always when Im faced with a difficult stats problem. Hmmmm very weird. At this moment especially I miss "doctor fionn chua" who could always tell me what to eat/drink and what not to eat/drink in this condition.
Okie enough about nasty tests and acidic stomach. I wish to rewind back to some enjoyable weeks before. I stayed over at Vicky' place to help with packing when her hubby was away. We didnt do much but had very nice gal time which is always therapeutic right. =) And not to mention her truly lovable dogs.
Then I went for a baby shower. Its my first baby shower. The mummy to be is Krishna's colleague's wife. Although I felt a bit out of place I truly had a nice time at the end of it all. Every mum deserves a baby shower I think. There were lots of sweets and chocolate and wonderful spread of lunch and interesting games like guess whats the poo(melted chocolate) in the diapers. And then of course the opening of all the presents! The ladies lunch party seems like a good idea to lighten the anxiety that a mum would be feeling as her due date nears and also reward her in a way.
The following weekend I and krish went down to help Mohan and Vicky move. Their new place is a townhouse that has a stairs from the living up to the bedrooms. A very nice and cosy place for the 4 of them. At the end of the day it was a tiring especially for the guys but an exciting weekend. Haha moving things up the stairs is no big joke man.
